Automotive Industry is a risky industry, which is in its recover stage. There are several trends that will define the sustainability of the companies in the industry, one of which is going green and reducing the dependence on oil.

Ford and Toyota are two companies with big market presence and great R&D investment, which might make them successful companies in future.

The investing in them now should be made for a long term so that companies will overcome the crisis. The good point of this companies is that they target middle class mostly and now changing the automobile is the necessity that comes every 10 years in average. Taking into consideration the fact that Toyota and ford had various for middle and upper middle class, they can take bigger market stake.
