SEASONS AND WEATHER.

There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The spring months are March, April and May. The summer months are June, July and August. The autumn months are September, October, November. The winter months are December, January and February.

In spring the weather is usually warm. Sometimes there are cold days in spring. The trees and the grass are green, the air is fresh, the sky is blue. When summer comes the weather gets warmer and sometimes it’s very hot.

Autumn is a favourite season for some people. When autumn comes, the days get colder.

Autumn is the harvest time. The farmers gather crops and pick fruit in the orchards. Autumn is a rainy season. It often rains in autumn.

Winter is the coldest season. It often snows. The ground, trees and houses are covered with snow. People spend more time indoors because it is cold out of doors.
