Isdn adapter Teles s0/16. 3 and its main features implemented by program rvs-com Lite.
ISDN adapter is designed to connect subscriber non-standardized for ISDN equipment (type TE2) to a network termination (NT1). Example of TE2 is two computers based on Intel Celeron 600.
User interface is provided by program RVS-COM Lite.
Let’s consider the basic features of the Terminal ISDN adapter:
start the RVS-COM Lite (Start > Programs > RVS-COM Lite). You will see a group of options RVS-COM
Browse existing opportunities in this group, and then open the CommCenter window (see Figure 6). This dialog box informs the user about the status of the program work. Here you can see and use the necessary routines RVS-COM, make sure you connect all your devices using bookmark Overview (answering machine, fax, file transfer, ports, etc.) and also view a list of all the actions taken by the user previously (incoming/outgoing calls, send files, faxes, etc.). You can use a bookmark Servises to confirm the installation of the ISDN-connection settings.

3. The following window – RVS Inbox (see Figure 7). Here are displayed the faxes and messages sent on the answering machine and sent faxes.

4. The following is an option Configuration Wizard (see Figure 8), which is used when you configure the ISDN adapter to select a specific configuration. Configuration is done after the installation of the adapter. Optionally, you can reconfigure your device.

5. Option Terminal (see Figure 9) implements the possibility of emulating analog modem, ISDN adapter, and is used to enter commands.

6. Option Accessories includeы supporting programs for signup online, download updates, access the help, home page.
7. Window TransferMaster serves for data transfer between two PCS with ISDN adapters.
8. Create New Fax Window allows to create and send faxes.
9. Window of Telephone is intended for a telephone connection using ISDN. In the opened RVS Phone window you can see the pad phone numbers (in the left upper part of it) to dial the number to call. Located in the upper-right corner panel of the answerphone includes a list of possible message and its settings. Below it is a list of connection attempts on this link (date, time, success of a connection).

Answerphone settings
Call Answerphone settings window by clicking Settings in the RVS Phone (see Figure 10). Configure Answerphone settings you can use the buttons: Add, Change, Remove the message Properties. Also in this dialog box, set the time after which answerphone will activate.

To record a new message the Add button is used in the Answerphone window(see Figure 11).

Set up transmission and reception of facsimile messages
1.Open the window Create new Fax (see Figure 12). In the settings fax window in the option Recipient to choose a Single recipient, to enter fax number and your name (the name of the sender/recipient).

2.To activate in settings the option to Use a cover page, and then click Next.
3. In the window RVS Fax Cover Page tune the size of the cover page (Normal), and specify the message subject (Subject) (see fig. 13).

You must create a message, after saving the file to your computer and add it to the RVS Fax: File (see Figure 14).

4. In the RVS Fax: End select High quality printing fax (200dpi) before sending it.
5. On another computer you must take your fax.
Configuring ISDN adapter for transmitting or receiving data by network.
To open the Untitled-TransferMaster window (see Figure 15).

2. In the window to define a new connection (New Connection):
- you must enter the number of other side of connection (other workstations where you install an ISDN adapter);
-Enter a user name other side (RVS-Host (ISDN);
-click Next.
3. in the window Connect to to determine (see Figure 16):
- your user name (student) of the other side;
-your password (student);
-phone connected to your side;
-simulated Protocol for data transmission via ISDN (Devise: ISDN PPP, for example);
-the location from which they are dialing (Location);
-apply;
-Connect.

4. In case of successful connection start to transfer files. There are two main working windows. The first is the source and destination of files which are transferred from your computer (for example, send files from folder incoming on drive c). Second is window of state of file transmission of other side, with the corresponding name as the name of the other side (RVS-Host (ISDN). From the window Incoming files are selected and transferred to other file transfer state window, i.e. the transmission starts.
5. On the other side, there is the same system of windows, and transmitted file is displayed in the Incoming on computer of second user. File transfer is accompanied by the reports of transmission bitrate and various service messages.
