Finance Degree Online
Finance professionals are experts at managing money and advising others on how to spend and invest their resources. Careers in finance require individuals to be detail oriented and organized. Many work in business, both large and small, charity organizations, governments, and private consulting firms. Most finance professionals hold at least a bachelor's degree and many also have an MBA in finance.
What is MBA?
MBA means Master of Business Administration. In other words it is a programme of training universal managers. It is one of the most prestige and demanded diplomas in business education which is recognised in the world.
T
he
main purposes of the MBA programme are to train executives
(спеціалисти) for manager positions, responsible and able
to make right decisions in unconventional situations quickly; to
teach the main and auxiliary business foundations (принципі
ведення бізнесу)
and
others.
The MBA curriculum
The MBA curriculum consists of approximately 1000 auditorium
classes and self-control studying twice as many ( = writ double).
The courses are usually divided into four groups:
business environment subjects (дисципліни, які вивчають середовище бізнесу) (e.g. Economics theory, Enterprise Law, Taxation Law, Professional Ethics, etc.);
the scientific business foundations (наукові основи бізнесу) (e.g. Finances, Accounting, Statistics, Organisational and Administrative Behaviour ( організаційна та адмыныстративна поведінка), Risk Management, etc.);
principle courses ( базові курси) (e.g. Marketing, Management, HRM (Human Relation Management, управління персоналом), etc.);
special and specified courses (спеціальні та спеціалізовані дисципліни) (e.g. Project Management, Portfolio Management ( = Investment Management, управління інвестиціями), Logistics, etc.)
Special attention is paid to so-called Case-study. Case-study means training solving practical problems.
A lot of financiers believe that the best variant for them is to have
two educational backgrounds – that in finance and MBA.
If it is impossible, the MBA and profound study
of accounting and finance is a good compromise.
