13 В торговом центре (department store)

1. When we want to buy something, we go to a shop.

2. There are many kinds of shops in every town or city.

3. I like to do my shopping at big department stores and supermarkets.

4. They consist of many departments: clothes, shoes, sports goods, toys, electric appliances, cosmetics etc.

5. You can buy everything you like there.

6. You can touch things and choose what you want.

7. In the men’s department men can buy suits, coats and socks.

8. In the women’s department women can buy cosmetics and dresses

9. In the knitwear department you can buy sweaters.

10. In a food supermarket we can also buy many different things: fish, sugar, macaroni, tea, cabbage, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, carrots, butter, milk, cheese etc.

11. At the bakery you buy brown and white bread, cakes and biscuits.
