In SI units, absorbed dose is measured in Joules by kilogram (J∙kg-1) and is known under a special name – Grey (Gy). The earlier used non-system unit Rad equals 0.01 Gy.

The measurement unit of effective dose is Sivert (Sv).

The measurement unit of yearly effective dose is Sivert (Sv).

The measurement unit of effective collective dose is man-Sivert (man-Sv).

Equivalent dose unit is Sivert (Sv)

Equivalent yearly dose unit is Sivert (Sv)

In case of fire.
