It's a well known fact that hotels nowadays play a big role. Every year more and more new hotels are opened.

Sometimes it is even difficult to decide which to choose while traveling. There are luxury hotels, which seem to be expensive, b & b hotels, where you will get only breakfasts and a place to sleep, youth hostels, where you meant to serve everything yourself and many other places to stay in. Some people enjoy staying in a hotel. Sure, on the one hand there are a lot of advantages in it. To begin with, it's convenient. You have a chance to make a telephone call and reserve any room you want in a good time, to be confident by your arrival. Besides, you don't need to serve yourself, everything will be done by the hotel staff, I find it wonderful. More than that, I do like that in the hotel you can be offered some interesting excursions and you can be sure that they are safe because the hotel is responsible for every offer.

What is shopping? It is rather a tricky question, in my opinion, as for different people shopping means different things: it may be a household duty, a favourite leisure activity or something else. For most men it is an ordeal, they can hardly bear more than twenty minutes in any shop and prefer doing any kind of hard work to accompanying their wives or girlfriends in a boutique or a supermarket. For women shopping for clothes, toiletries or jewelries is a kind of entertainment, they can spend hours choosing a T-shirt or a pair of shoes, trying them on or even window-shopping. Although the word shopaholic was coined a few years ago the phenomenon itself has been existing for hundreds of years.

Modern technology affects people`s lifestyles and daily routine. Now we can do our shopping not only in stores or markets but also on the Internet. No doubt shopping online is more convenient and less time consuming but on the other hand buying clothes without trying them on or perfume without smelling it may not seem a good idea.

Online shopping has some obvious advantages. To start with, you can shop from the comfort of your own home. This makes life easier, as we can avoid the crowds and traffic and there are no heavy bags to carry. Secondly, it is quick and easy to shop online. You can visit a number of different websites in no time at all and order at the click of a button.

However, there are also some disadvantages. Firstly, online shopping can put you at risk of credit card fraud. You must ensure that you only use reputable sites and be very careful with your credit card details, or someone else may be able to use your credit card. Secondly, pictures on a computer screen may not live up to your expectations. As you cannot touch or examine things before you buy them, you may be disappointed when your purchase arrives.

All in all, there are both advantages and disadvantages to shopping online. It is easy and convenient, but it is also risky and we should consider all the pros and cons before we consider doing it.
