Policy of scoring
The assessment of students in the framework of the credit system is made on the basis of points and rating system for evaluating academic work performance of students. The policy of scoring is based on objective principles, transparency, flexibility and high level of differentiation.
The rating of the discipline is evaluated on the 100 point scale.
Points distribution, according to the types of assignments
Current monitoring of students’ progress is conducted on each subject of the discipline and includes knowledge control in classroom and extracurricular classes. Evaluation of current control (admission rating score) consists of estimation of current control in a classroom and midterm control (extracurricular activities).
The current control of students’ academic achievements is expressed in terms of 100 point scale for each completed assignment (active participation in classes, fulfilment of homework assignments, a student’s independent work, midterm control) and the final result of the current performance control equals to arithmetic mean of the sums of all ratings received during the academic period.
