Order of work
1. Determine the static deflection of the beam under load by Mohr's method or Vereshchagin's rule.
2. Calculate the maximum static stress at the beam cross-section.
3. Determine the dynamic factor leaving the beam weight out of account.
4. Calculate the maximum beam deflection and maximum stress generated in its cross-section at the point of impact and check the beam strength under impact.
5. Determine the dynamic factor taken into account the beam own weight.
6. Determine the maximum beam deflection and maximum stress generated in its cross-section at the point of impact and check the beam strength under impact taken into account the beam own weight.
7. Calculate the dynamic factor, beam maximum deflection and maximum stress under impact if one of the supports is a spring damper.
