So, stand up and one by one read aloud your essays about your favorite season. I’m going to take your works.

I will mark them and give them back next time.

1.Open your books at page 75 ex.7. The new poems. Now we will listen to it.

2. Read the poem one by one. Don’t forget about intonation and pauses.

Who wants to translate this poem? Let’s do it all together. There are a lot of new words. Write down them in your dictionaries at home.

3. Next exercise № 6. Here you can see a proverb. What is Russian for “proverb”?

Let’s read it aloud and try to understand it.

How do you think what is Russian equivalent of this proverb? Does it exist? Write down this proverb in your copybooks with Russian equivalent. Don’t forget to write down the date and class work.

4. Let’s do ex.5. Match the sentences. I give you 3 minutes to do this task.

Let’s check it all together. I’ll read the first part of the sentence and you have to finished it and translate.

5. Open your book at page 77 ex.10.

You should put these adjectives in comparative and superlative forms. Remember if adjective has only one syllable just add ‘-er’ for the comparative and ‘-est’ for the superlative. Adjectives with three or more syllables form the comparative by putting ‘more’ in front of the adjective, and the superlative by putting ‘most’ in front. And don’t forget that some adjectives have irregular comparative and superlative forms. You should do it one by one at the blackboard. Others should write down it in copybooks.

6. Ex.11 We have to put in the missing words in this sentences. Let’s do it orally. Read aloud the sentence and then think about missing word.
