Dear Professor, I am indeed sorry for missing the final exam. I do not usually behave in such an irresponsive manner and this is completely out of my character. Due to this fact I am kindly asking you to excuse my exam and give me a second chance. The reason for my absence is I have been feeling sick those days, and I was pushed to go to the hospital to the detailed analysis of my health problems. And during the medical inspection the angina was spotted, so my doctor decided to leave me in hospital for 3 days, including the day of exam.

I can provide all relevant documents, including the bills for the hospital stay and statement of disease to prove that I was indeed sick and I was taking a cure in hospital of clinic of Asfendiyarov. I have never missed the final exams before and I would never miss this exam because the class you are teaching is very useful for my future.

I am wondering if I would be able to make up the exam this weekends or any other day that best suits you. You might want to take off points for the late exam, but I am really afraid about how it would affect my GPA, as I am a senior student and I am studying on scholarship keeping GPA high is very important for me. Thus, I could also do an extra credit project. I truly apologize for letting you down and look forward for your positive reply.

My name is Botakoz Tokanova and I am a senior student of business administration faculty in KIMEP University; I am majoring in two different areas: accounting and finance with GPA above 3.75. As soon as I received the news about internship opportunities in you company I have decided to apply for it.So, I am excited about getting an internship in the KPMG, because it will be the greatest experience to learn the audit from one of the Big 4 companies. I want to be the part of the KPMG, because I have excellent knowledge in auditing, financial and managerial accountings; so now I want to implement my knowledge in practice that will benefit KPMG exactly. Also I try to behave ethically, I am person of high moral and responsible, in other words, I am the right person who can help you to conduct an audit.

Why do I want to get the internship?

I am passionate about experiencing new challenges and getting lessons from them that will be applicable in the future. My goal to be achieved by the end of the internship, is to become a closely related to the real audit practices, to have a knowledge not only on a theory based.

Meeting with different managers of different companies, acquiring new professional skills and develop further communication skills are the drivers for me to get the internship in KPMG.
