Description:
1. The drive shaft (15) is rotated by the change gears of the quadrant. - Ведущий валик (15) получает вращение от сменных зубчатых колес гитары.
2. The gears (11) and (12) can be moved along the shaft (15) by means of the lever (10). - Зубчатые колеса (11) и (12) можно перемещать вдоль валика (15) посредством рычага (10).
3. The driven shaft (2) has different rotational speeds depending on the lever (10) position. - Ведомый валик (2) получает различные скорости вращения в зависимости от положения рычага (10).
4. The gear (2) on the driven shaft (3) can transmit torque to the lead screw (5) or feed rod (6) at different speeds. - Зубчатое колесо (3) на ведомом валике (2) может передавать вращающий момент ходовому винту (5) или ходовому валу (6) с разными скоростями.

Requirements of IMO, MARPOL, STCW-78 AND SOLAS
IMCO (IMO) – International Maritime Organization
The volume of transporting goods by sea has growing considerably for the last 35 years. In 1976 the total amount reached 3,352 mln tons. The number of transport vessels is still growing very rapidly. The sailing of so many vessels in the world’s oceans and seas evolved many new problems. To avoid many perils and accidents at sea it became necessary to coordinate their activities. Of course it could be done only by mutual efforts of all the countries. The Organization of the United Nations worked out a special convention for creating such organization which was named the Inter-governmental Maritime Consultative Organization (IMCO). Now this organization is called IMO.
Now IMO performs many functions through its Committees. The main of them are: the Committee of safety at sea; the Committee for protecting the sea environment; the Juridical Committee and the Committee for technical cooperation.
