E. As for as you hww music may be different, look at the blackboard, please. We have tables with its definitions. What musical genres can you name? Ok, now listen to same brief information and try to guess what type of music it is:
~ Some young people say it's difficult to understand this music. It's played by big orchestras. You can hear it at concert halls, on TV and radio programmers. If you listen to this music often enough and attentively, you'll enjoy Mozart and Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich. Performers usually don't sing or dance to this music.
-This music is popular mostly with young people. It is performed by modern electronic instruments. There are hard and heavy-metal styles. We know a lot of musical groups which are popular in this country and abroad.
~ This music is popular among young and old, both in town and in the country, and it lives on for centuries. Every nation has its own national music and dance to it.
- You can hear this music every day and everywhere. There are a lot of musical groups who perform this kind of music. Let's take, for example, the "Beatles", their composers John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Or, modern singers Gwen Stefany or Genifer Lopez.
~ There is a tendency to use this music with particular reference to the music of the past, up to and including the 19l century. It's also used to denote a style which emphasizes formal beauty rather than freedom of personal expression, intellect rather than row emotion.
~ Popular music first played by Negro groups in the Southern USA in the early 20 century characterized by improvisation and strong rhythms.

feel about characterization?
How can you account for the large scale popularity of rock and
heavy-metal? Is it only an entertainment to young people or does
such music represent their values? What values?

What is the difference between the tragical element in life and in
