Скелет – это совокупность костей, хрящей, суставов, сухожилий и связок.

The skeleton is the collection of bones, cartilages, joints, tendons and ligaments.

Кости составляют скелет тела.

The bones form the skeleton of the body.

Костная система состоит из 206 костей.

The skeletal system is made up of 206 bones.

Костная система защищает внутренние органы, поддерживает и придает телу форму.

Бывают: кости головы и лица , кости туловища и кости верхних и нижних конечностей.

Основные кости головы – череп, а кости лица – верхняя и нижняя челюсть.
