- •Limitation: Each individual must be protected against risks that are far too large through individual radiation dose limits.
- •Optimization: Radiation doses should all be kept as low as reasonably achievable.

1. Thermal, 2.Smoke, 3.Light and 4.Combined.
1. The thermal transducers respond to increase of environmental temperature, and are subdivided into
+maximum ones to turn on when temperature is increased to critical level;
+differential - turn on when environmental temperature increases with the certain velocity;
+maximum - differential.
Smoke transducers can’t be set in rooms with air temperature below -3o°C and above 6o°C, relative humidity higher than 80%, and also in very dusty rooms and areas with acid vapours.
The light transducers respond to ultra-violet or infra-red radiation.
Combined transducers are based on principles of operation of both thermal and smoke transducers.
Fire Evacuation Procedures (1-3)
Activate the fire alarm or inform people
in the burning building about hazards in other way
Call 101 and give you name, location, nature of emergency and telephone number
Assist injured personnel. Inform emergency responders (101 or 103) about the nature of the medical emergency . Assist with the first aid or evacuation
Fire Evacuation Procedures (4-5)
Exit the buildingAssist physically impaired individuals, which should be given assistance in a secure area. Emergency personnel must be notified of their locations
Fire Evacuation Procedures (6-8)
Ensure all personnel are out of the
building. If there is time and no present danger, close all doors and windows while evacuating.
Do not use the elevators.
Extinguish small fires. Do not attempt to extinguish any fire if there is a threat to your safety.
Fire Evacuation Procedures (9-10)
Report hazardous conditions
(Combustible gases and liquids, breakdowns of the electricity system)
lo.Stay low - keep near the floor. Smoke, heat and toxic gases will rise to the ceiling.
Fire Evacuation Procedures (10-11)
All closed doors should be checked for heat prior to opening. If a door is hot, the door should not be opened
Stay away from the building
until it is safe to return. Do not reenter the building until advised to do so by the authorities
