Тема: «Професія, яку я обрав. Престиж моєї професії. Герундій».

Мета: засвоїти лексику по темі та активізувати її вживання в мовленні, вивчити вживання герундія в англійській мові.

Вивчивши тему, ви повинні

знати: лексичний мінімум теми, вільно користуватися при перекладі відповідною інформацією; вживання герундія в англійській мові;

вміти: використовувати лексичний матеріал з теми під час усного та писемного мовлення, розуміти на слух, виконувати тренувальні вправи.

My future profession of bookkeeper

As we know there are about three thousand professions. I decided to enter the technology-economical college and to become an accountant. The profession of an accountant is very popular nowadays. Every modern enterprise needs specialists of a high level of qualification. More than two millions of the bookkeepers work in our national economy. The bookkeepers fulfill an important and responsible work. Also they can work as the state inspectors.

The first task of a bookkeeper is to divide all the firm's paperwork into meaningful categories. These categories include:

• sales documents (sales slips, cash register receipts, invoices);

• purchasing documents;

• bank documents (checks, deposit slips)

The bookkeeper must know the laws and instructions, the fulfillment of which is obligatory. So a bookkeeper is busy keeping the books of account, recording a profit and loss account and compiling the balance sheet.
