Mogyliv-Podilsky Custom-House

Mogyliv-Podilsky custom-house functions in the system of custom service and submits to Podilsky regional custom. Decision to found the custom service in an in dependent Ukraine was carried out by the resolution of Verkhovna Rada in June 25,1991.

From the history of the custom-house.

For the first time the custom-house was founded 356 years ago in 1643. Nowadays the custom bodies began to found in two weeks after referendum in December 1, 1991. Mogyliv-Podilsky custom­house was founded in May 18,1992.

Zone of its activity embraces 10 districts of Vinnitsa region: Mogyliv-Podilsky,Yampilsky, Pishchansky, Kryzhopilsky, Tomashpilsky, Sharhorodsky, Chernivetsky, Tulchynsky, Barsky, Murovano-Kurylovetsky. There are four posts in the territory of the custom-house. These posts include 7 pass points on the border with the Republic of Moldavia. They are the railway-station, "Mogyliv-Podilsky auto", passenger and goods traffic cross and auto-crosses. The length of borderline, which is served by the custom-house is 207 kilometres.
