The icon bar gives quick access to functions which manage the project and system diagrams. The list of functions is presented in the table below.

1.9.3.2.3.Managing the project.
In Polysun an information about consumer, location of the system and variants of solar system diagram are encapsulated to the one project. The new project can be created with the use of Project Wizard or from menu Project-New Project. The project can be saved into the file (Project – Save Project) and then open (Project – Open Project). The project components are presented in the form of tree in the window - Project. The Project Tree consists of Project overview, where the photograph of property and description of the project can be placed; Location of the system, where information about property like coordinates, obstacles, horizon, shading are introduced. With the use of the project tree we have access to the list of system diagrams created in the current project (System diagram). In the one project a user can prepare many variants of the system diagram. New diagram is placed with the use of wizard, with the menu System diagram- Create new menu diagram (Ctrl+N) or after mouse click on the selected diagram template. Templates are pre-defined system diagrams listed in the window Templates.

One of the diagrams can be a reference diagram (on the system diagram right mouse click ‘System diagram as reference’). The reference system diagram is used to make comparative analysis of designed system.
