Реферирование – последовательное подробное изложение материала текста с указанием деталей, а также высказыванием своего мнения, соображений, идей.

Word the central idea of the article/text.

Compress the article/text to no more then 5 sentences.
State the main problem discussed in the article/text and mark off the passages of the article/text that seem important to you.
Look for minor peculiarities in the article/text.
Point out the facts that turn out to be new for you.
Look through the text for figures which are important for general understanding.
State what places of the article contradict your former views.
State the questions which remain unanswered in the article and if it is possible add your tail to it.
Speak on the conclusion the author comes to. Express you own point of view on the problem discussed.
