A typical British wedding

When two people are planning to get married, they can choose to have a religious ceremony or a civil ceremon. On the wedding day, the groom is helped by a best man who brings the rings to the weddding ceremony. The bride may have one or more bridesmaids. Afterwards, there is a reception for the couple and the wedding guests. It is traditional for the best man and the groom to make speeches, and then everyone drinks a toast to the couple, and wishes them a long and happy marriage. Today more and more women become top executives. Men and women work side by side as equals in many offices. In many ways, the workplace is becoming a community whose members share work projects and interests. And love grows naturally in places where people share interests and work.

What is Love?

It seems there is no thing simpler than love and, at the same time, there is no thing more complicated than love. Everybody feels love to another person but it is hard to explain what love is.

Love completes us.  We feel we have someone in our corner who supports us. We need someone to love to share the happiness in life that comes our way. We need love because we are social creatures. We need someone to love so that we can give love to our children together.

Life is full of love but not everybody can see that. We love our parents and relatives, friends and pets, we love our homes and our Motherland, Ukraine. But there are different kinds of love: the love of our parents and families; the love of our children; the love of friends and partners; the love of pets.  Love in all of these senses feeds our self image.

The most mystery feeling is love between a man and a woman.
