Т: Let's look at the text again. You can see in Ex. 4 on Page 172 some statements. Choose one of the statements you like, find the facts to support them, and tell about Robin and his life in the past.

2. Т: We could read the story and discuss it. But this story has no name. Let's find the name for the text. Try to explain your choice. You can use the names and the model in Ex. 6. Work in pairs. But first read the information in the rubric «Ask Mr. Help».

Т: Let's try to tell the story about Robin in short. Open your Workbooks on Page 7 and put the sentences in the correct order.

(1, 8, 11,9, 10, 3, 2, 5, 4, 6, 7, 12). We can start your homework in class, and you must finish it at home.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

1. Приветствие и организационный момент начала урока:

Т: Good morning, children! I'm glad to see you again. Who is on duty today? Who is away today? Who is late today? What date is today? What day is it today? Are you ready for the lesson? How are you, Pi? Are you fine, P₂? Are you OK, P₃?

2. Речевая зарядка.

T: Let's repeat some word combinations from your homework. I'll say them in Russian; you must repeat them in English.

T: Робин жил. Pj: Robin lived.

3.Контроль домашнего задания.

Т: Who wants to tell the whole story about Robert Mac Wizard? (1—2 учащихся пересказывают текст).

4. Введение нового грамматического материала и его отработка.

a) Т: We are in the country DoDidDone again. I want you to read some information on Page 174—175 about the city of Simple.

b) Т: Let's take our draggies and their clothes. Try to choose the right clothes for them. You can use the 'verb list on Page 245 in your Textbooks.

Т: Who is ready with the clothes? Let's read the names on the dragons' coats.

c) Т: Fill in the gaps in Ex. 2 on Page 176.

Т: Let's listen and check your answers.

4. Т: Look at the letter line of Ex. 4. Can you find eight verbs there? Write them down, please.

5. T: Let's have some fun. We can play a game. Take your cards with the verbs from the paragraph Cut Out. Choose one of them. Read the verbs on your card. Listen to me, please. I'll read some sentences with the verbs in the Past Simple. Put the number of the sentence in your card when you hear the verb on your card. Read the rules of this game in Ex. 5 on Page 176 again.
